Project

As part of the revitalization of the Tsui Ping River, a major project by the Hong Kong government, SPISEA was selected to build the floating platform and provided the canopy and benches, transforming this once-polluted waterway into an accessible public space designed with residents’ well-being in mind.
The Tsui Ping River, located in the Kwun Tong District, has been redeveloped into a one-kilometer river walkway.
SPISEA installed floating docks that rise and fall with the tide, meaning the new public spaces remain accessible whatever the water level.
The project offers a green river walkway and a safe space that brings people together, while six footbridges across the river also improve connectivity between residential and commercial areas so locals can enjoy nature in the heart of the city.
